CHRIS BACH
About Chris Bach
Chris Bach is a lot like you. She loves dogs! She began to study them as soon as she was old enough to hold a leash. Her laboratories and classrooms have been training halls, clients homes, conferences, seminars and dog shows.
She is known world-wide for her pioneering efforts to show dog lovers how to get a dog to voluntarily accept being guided, managed and educated. Her unique approach to training and living with dogs is called THE THIRD WAY. This program is highly effective yet easy to implement and exceptionally dog-friendly. Using it not only results in a reliably responsive, obedient dog but also enables both owner and dog to feel great about being together.
THE THIRD WAYS Three Foundation Games, which Chris developed, are well-known to the global dog community and are utilized more often than any other training program for getting dogs off to a great start! These games teach dogs that what they want is available through attentiveness and cooperation with people and have repeatedly proven to result in dogs that possess the highest levels possible of reliability and commitment.
Chris is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant of the very prestigious International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and is a charter board member. She was also asked to join the distinguished American Humane Association committee, which brought together top U.S. trainers to build a code of ethics and guidelines for logical and humane dog training. She wrote a series of articles for a renowned dog training magazine and has written a widely-read Comprehensive Reference Book of THE THIRD WAY. Presently she is working on a project directed towards helping pet dog owners. Chris currently lectures about dog behavior and training in both the United States and Canada, and is well-known and often requested for her unique perspective on all aspects of the dog/human relationship.
Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, is home to Chris, her wonderful and supportive husband, Bill, and their precious pooches Belgian Malinois, Brass and Border Collie, Stunner.
