SEMINAR SESSION #1
Lynn Young "Roll Over Rover"
Lynn's session concentrates on being prepared and emphasizes safety and management using Chris Bach's "Third Way" tools. Lynn will be addressing the areas of most concern with a dog when the family is expecting a new baby, the difference between training a dog and raising a child, safety issues for young children and dogs.
Ms Young will guide us through the experience of teaching the dog how to happily accept the new baby and how to teach our children to behave safely and respectfully with any dog, not just their own.

SEMINAR SESSION #2
Paola Hoger "Great Recalls & More"
Paola Hogers session is focused in a hands-on practical use of Chris Bach's "Third Way" tools (the Next Generation in reinforcement Training). This session will have a particular thrust towards the family pet and training them to come when called (the recall). Paola will start with the Third Way's Foundation Games, how to teach, proof and put them into practical use, and why we need all behaviours to be voluntary to create a habit. The seminar will then move to how to use these games to improve your dogs recall.
Those who have previously attended Third Way Seminars will find the practical application to the Foundation Games very helpful in training others to train their dogs. |
